Water Chemistry

I wrote the attached article for a BJCP study group I was part of. It is a work in progress and will be getting a complete overhaul in the next couple of months.

Big thankyous to Dr Smurto, yumyumyum, mark Hibberd (Bayside Brewers) MHB and Screwtop for taking the time to read through, make suggestions and check the accuracy of the scientific information within.

An even bigger thankyou to Thirsty Boy who not only read through and checked the accuracy but actually made some great suggestions on making the document more user friendly, clearer and easier to follow.

Unfortunately, I have not yet had the time to implement his ideas but that's the aim of the next edit. I also aim to include in-text references with the next edit.

Hopefully it offers those with an interest in water chemistry something to get their teeth into. It is long and like all water chemistry stuff, probably requires reading through a few times to get the gist. I apologise if there's any melbourne-centric stuff in there - that will be removed in the next version.

Until then:
