I've come to ask the experts.

He did? My apologies to DallasG then. I mistook you for one of those chat GPT's or a Chinese spyware bot or troll smartarse. The internet. Its a such a minefield nowadays. You can never be sure. Carry on then.

I've come to ask the experts.

'Medical reasons' you say. Are you a bilateral amputee (arms)? If so, I'm sure you have built enough strength and dexterity in your feet to manage hoisting a bag out of an urn with a simple pulley system. Or have your carer help you. Would make a nice change of pace from wiping your arse I'm sure.

    Silicone seal for Lid

If you're a dab hand with a silicone gun, you could always run a bead around and smooth it off with a nice soapy finger. As a plumber in a former life, I can tell you its worth shelling out a few extra bux for the decent stuff.

    Belgian candi sugar

You could go full send and make your own from scratch. Probably on a par with growing your own barley. Or coffee. Like, you'd have to be really, really keen, but totally doable.

    Belgian candi sugar

I used to get bottles of cheap corn syrup from asian grocers and use it in place of exorbitantly priced 'candi syrup'. For pale Belgians at least, I concluded it made FA difference. I'm certainly not the first to notice this...

    Sweetening Apple Cider With Lactose

Add it whenever you like. Some point in the boil is probably a good idea. The yeast couldn't care less.

    Stainless Steel fermenters

Invest is the word. I think buy once, cry once is a good rule of thumb with stainless. Frankly I think the 32L looks a bit chintzy. The pragmatist in me likes the Kegmenter for its flexibility and simplicity and ability to produce 70% ABV beer.

    Distilling botched batch of beer

Yeah, give it a whirl. Old mate did it with Corona and made a 'drinkable' product. Dunno how bad your batch is, but thats a pretty low bar I'd say.

Beer excise tax killing off Aussie craft breweries

Absolutely. Anybody who imagines the ATO will repeal such a lucrative source of revenue they can justify under the 'harm minimization' banner is delusional. About as much chance as getting ciggies back to ten bucks a pack.

Really? Sixteen years, five and a half thousand posts and only once? Wow. Some people are hard to please..

Beer excise tax killing off Aussie craft breweries

The beetroots' probably necked enough piss to keep half a dozen micros out of receivership. At least Joyce only humiliated himself publicly this time and not his long suffering wife and kids. Semi comatose and mumbling obscenities in the street, or ******* around with the help. What quality...

Beer excise tax killing off Aussie craft breweries

It may be a point of national shame, but Great Northern Crisp Lager has been the Toyota Hilux of beers in Australia for a few years running. 3.5% ABV .Makes a point of pointing out its 'low bitterness'. Its printed right on the box. A box that costs 60 bucks for 30 x 375 ml tubes of beer...

Beer excise tax killing off Aussie craft breweries

There is. This forum is literally populated with people who produce their own beer. See those French farmers blocking highways and hurling shit and rotting produce at government buildings? That's how you get your message across. That will never happen here because we're to preoccupied...
