The great Dickey Betts, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, passed away two weeks ago at age 80.

A brilliant songwriter and guitarist, he helped create the Southern Rock sound that influenced a broad spectrum of other musicians and genres.

In tribute, Billy Strings closed out a recent concert by playing Dickey Betts’ composition Ramblin’ Man with a typically awesome lead break.

I hope you'll understand

R.I.P. Dickey.

Hello everyone

Hi there Pat, welcome aboard!

But this is the 'what are you listening to' thread, not the 'chimping' thread or 'Hello everyone' thread.
Yeah, I know it's confusing!

Here' I'll get you started, luv.

I'm currently enjoying the musical stylings of the Screaming Trees featuring the late and marvellous Mark Lanegan.
Eazy peazy!

Massive fan of Lanegan, seen him a few times with Queens and solo at The Espy a few years back.

This is a remix of one of his later tunes, not sure if it's the same Mikey Young who is/was in Eddy Current Supression Ring?

Anyhoo, great tune and mix.
