Commercial processes to make 10 year old whisky in weeks?

It does not relate to or promote the home distilling of alcohol which is illegal in Australia without a licence.

Saw an episode of Moonshiners on Fox recently where they converted the moonshine to "whisky' by running electrical currents through wood staves to speed up the process. Took 24 hours from memory - after making the moonshine. "Appeared" to be a reasonable end product - had good colour, could only go of their taste comments though.

I wouldn't take anything you see on that show too seriously, they once added sugar to the boiler to bump up the abv (insert head banging brick wall emoji).

Hopefully they can apply the same chemistry to beer. From fermenter to glass in about 56 minutes..

I don't take the show seriously - hence the "appeared" in quotations. Will watch it if its on to see the f ups. Usually most of them staged.
