Dry yeast state of play?

So I'm just getting back into brewing, last time I brewed I was making starters and using liquid yeasts with London Ale 3 etc for my hazies but I was just keen on seeing how these newer dry yeasts like Verdant are stacking up. Is it safe to ditch my stir plate yet or not?
 
Options for dried yeast have definitely improved. I use verdant for hazies and am pretty happy with the results. I still use liquid yeast for belgians
